Teri has loved animals her entire life. She was raised in a home that always had at least one dog and two to three cats. She raised her children with cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils and ferrets.
Teri has always been the one that her family, friends and neighbors turn to when they need help with their furry family members, because of her obvious love for all animals.
Teri has been dog, cat and house sitting for numerous years, and she is always her customers first choice.
Teri doesn’t just watch the pets, but she plays with them, loves on them and usually even sleeps with them. They become her best little friends and extended family.
Teri works with senior citizens in a retirement community and ALL the animals know her very well. She often sees the dogs pulling their leashes toward her office because they know she will drop whatever she is doing to love all over them and provide them with a yummy treat. Some people describe Teri as a little over the top when it comes to animals and Teri just says, “Your right and I have no apologies”.
Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am a true animal lover at heart. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and can’t remember a time in my life where my life wasn’t touched by them! I always grew up with a pet and I myself now have 2 cats. Pets are not just pets in my opinion..they’re members of the family and should be treated as such. Pets deserve love, care, and respect. You can expect me as you pet-sitter to realize just how special your pet is and can find comfort in the fact that I will treat them as they were my own.
Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up in a large, northeast city, we had a small zoo of animals throughout the years-gerbils, hamsters, mice, goldfish, tropical fish, cats, dogs and yes, skunks! I get the bleeding-heart-for-animals gene from my dad, who when I was very young I recall him nursing abandoned baby birds or orphaned ducks back to health. For him and now me, caring for animals is more than a job, it’s a passion.
Often I joke that while I’ve been in the communications industry for most of my life, communicating with animals versus people is much easier for me! I have taken my passion for caring for animals to new heights since moving to Oklahoma and learning of the overpopulation crisis here, something I simply have not seen where I am from. Since moving here, you could often find me pulled over on the side of the road, walking outside my house with a dog treat in-hand trying to coax a loose dog to approach me or laying on my stomach trying to pull stray puppies out from an abandoned house. Helping animals brings me great joy and while I have personally helped over 30 animals since living here in Oklahoma, I can add four more to that number with my own rescues-three dogs and a really chunky cat, named simply Mr. Fur.
I know I’m picky when it comes to who I select to watch my pets when I’m out of town, so I can appreciate the same from our clients. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and hope that you trust in my years of animal experience to provide seamless care for your pet. I know first-hand they are part of your family!

My husband Mike and I work pet siting together. We also work insurance and real estate together. It has been a long time since we worked our pet sitting business TOGETHER in Atlanta, Ga. We were very involved in Golden Retriever rescue and Second Chance rescue. We adopted 32 rescue senior dogs during our first 20 years of marriage! Although all but two of our dogs are in doggy heaven, each of them had their own unique personality and quirks. They will forever live in our hearts.
We moved to Tulsa from Colorado Springs, Co. less than 2 years ago. We both needed to be closer to sea level due to being exposed to carbon monoxide. We feel we are lucky to be alive. Second chances mean everything to us and I felt it was time to revisit our love of pet sitting. Although Mike and I feel we are much older now than certainly when we worked this together in 2004, the concepts of showing love and attention to an animal whose parents have left does not change. We create together a warm and loving experience – much needed when everybody is gone and your pet(s) are left at home alone. It is a real joy for us to be able to visit long enough to be sure that the time was well spent and our fur babies feel complete satisfaction in knowing we will return with even more attention and devotion to their needs.
I have always loved animals and had 1 dog growing up. My father was picky and wanted the dog outdoors most of the time. She was so sweet. Her name was Taffy. She lived to be a ripe old age.
I took that love for that one animal and put the love I had into volunteering for rescues. I decided to go to the TSPCA volunteer meeting. Needless to say, I met D’Ann, and she needed help grooming our rescue dogs so that they could visit nursing homes. I ended up joining the Auxiliary and became an officer.
Several of my rescue friends started a new animal rescue, The Humane Society of Tulsa. I decided to join that group and help start the organization. I was a charter member of The Humane Society of Tulsa. It was so rewarding.
After The Humane Society of Tulsa, I joined the Oklahoma Alliance For Alliance. I was on the Board of Directors. We organized several activities. Its Hip to Snip was very popular. We neutered several dogs and cats that day.
I had to quit due to my mothers failing health.
I have 2 cats, Karma and Alfie. They are both special needs cats. What a personality they have. They are the joy of my life.
I love to take care of pets and if you pick me to take care of your babies, I will coddle them and send text pictures to the mom and dad.
I will always be a champion of animals, whether domesticated or wild.
Since Lisa grew up on a farm, she has cared for and lived with animals constantly. She has been married to John for 28 years and they have 4 children and 3 dogs and 1 granddog. During the school year, Lisa teaches and coaches. Just like all students are unique and have their own personalities, so it is with animals. I love to get to know new people and animals and see what makes them happy. The pet members of our families enrich our lives. There is no substitute for you, but rest assured, while you are away the best possible care will be given till you return.
